Session 6: Podcasting

Tonight is our last session Ahhh! We are learning the facts about podcasting by using learning.com, podcasting in simple English, and with the inputs of our wonderful and patient instructor Annet Riley. I appreciate all the ideas she shared along the 6 sessions of this workshop and I hope I can incorporate them with my teaching (after some more practice of course). I loved to be part of this small group of technology learners and wish to keep up with whatever comes up later. Maybe too fast for me.

Session 5: Wikis and Online Production

The excitement continues to grow week after week. You never know what's the new stuff the technology wizards are going to come out with. Are they ever going to stop creating? I don't think so. This changes are part of this generation and the more you find, the more new things they create.

Session 4: Photos & Images

We explored tonight how to save pictures on flickr.com and how to trasport them to blogs or other sites. We certainly don't stop learning and being amazed about all the new things we can do with all the photos and image Web sites. It is great to save and edit your pictures where you know they are going to be save and create less clutter in your closet. The shoe box full of pictures is obsolete.

Session 1: Blogging

During this session I just wanted to refresh my previous knowledge about blogging and find possibilities about how to use it in my classroom. I teach third grade and I needed some new ideas about an easy and fun way to communicate effectively with this generation of students who are growing surrounded by technology since they are born.

I think this first session was extremely useful. I created my blog and I'm set to continue blogging. WOW!!! I'm excited!!
